On the last weekend of September (Grand Final weekend) we gathered friends and family to help; with the start of the bathroom demo. The plan was to get this done ourselves to reduce the money needed on the renovation and ensure it was available for the trades and materials we cant do ourselves.
We gathered a small army consisting of;
- Amee & her partner Nathan
- Harper
- Nicole & Chris
- Colleen & Shane Cadman
- Cadman kids; Finn, Grace, Saxon, Ryder, Jay
- Alyssa (Jay’s girlfriend)
- Clare & Andrew
Together we set to work gutting the bathroom until it was ready for the next stage. I have to say the bulk of the bathroom work was thanks to Nathan, Chris, Shane C & Andrew (& Finn) however everyone else pitched in an d did a bunch of yard work cleanup, loaded the trailer with rubbish and generally made themselves useful in other ways to support Mum & Shane.

I will write another update in the coming days as unfortunately not much has been able to progress from here due to delays with the OT (we need the OT assessment to help cover some of the material costs).
