Running in Support of MND (Berwick-Pakenham Gazette 12/02/2025)

Finn’s Fundraising Featured Again in the Pakenham Gazette!

Finn’s incredible journey in raising funds and awareness for MND has once again been highlighted in the Pakenham Gazette (12th February 2025 edition)! This week’s article shines a light on his dedication, the overwhelming community support, and his growing impact.

Finn took part in the Great MND Relay at Albert Park, continuing to inspire everyone with his determination and passion. The feature includes amazing photos of Finn running alongside supporters, including MP Emma Vulin and his Glampa, Shane.

One of Finn’s standout quotes from this article captures his determination beautifully:

“The biggest message is about the care – we need the care, and the fundraising is amazing, but we have so many Victorians needing support right now.”

Not only has Finn been raising money, but he’s also working on pushing for government support for MND care. He has already started conversations with MP’s to help secure funding, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to making a difference!

Finn was able to help to raise $7500 in this years event. If you’d still like to contribute, you can donate here: https://www.mndrelay.org.au/my-fundraising/2896/finn-cadman The total goal for this event is to raise $400,000 as at the time of writing this post its about 95% of that target

Even a small donation of $5 can help make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Finn’s story would go a long way in supporting his mission.

MND Directly support not just those diagnosed with MND, but their surrounding family, friends and care network. How do we know this? Well, we have had direct support. Electric Wheelchair, Hospital Bed, Lift/Stand Recliner, carer and family support, support for Shane, advocacy when we have needed help or an ear to listen to a vent about the system, counselling support, help with finding grants for funding, help to fund barriers to solve the many problems we have had to face. We know these guys are in our corner and we know supporting this charity gets help directly to people that need it!
